I love everything about video games. My first console was the Nintendo 64 and gaming has been a part of who I am ever since then. I grew up with games like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Jet Force Gemini, Star Fox 64, and so many more. After that, I got the Playstation 1 and expanded what types of games I played. I experienced so many types of games that I wanted to see more of what was possible. Eventually, this turned into me thinking how the games I was playing could be designed differently or improved.
For example, I loved the multiplayer in the first Gears of War. I started to plan out how the game would have been different had the player been given the ability to choose their weapons at the start of each match. I also started to re-imagine some of the guns and mechanics working differently. This obviously would have changed the flow of the game. Then when Gears of War 2 was released, it did exactly that. I was glad to see those changes and encouraged me to imagine what other changes could be done to other games I liked playing. Some of my favorite games that I draw inspiration from include Devil May Cry 3, Metal Gear Solid 3, Ratchet and Clank, and Gears of War.
Outside of video games, I also really like watching movies. Some of my favorites come from Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan, and I really enjoy comic book movies from Marvel and DC. Some of my favorite TV shows are Avatar: The Last Airbender, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, and Dragonball Z. I also like to go to conventions, comic book stores, and I've been to a few concerts to see Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and Kings of Leon!
