I absolutely love everything about video games. My first console was the Nintendo 64 and gaming has been an integral part of my life since then. My vast gaming experience gives me the ability to view every game in a way that would allow it to be played differently.
For example, I played a lot of the first Gears of War's multiplayer. I started to imagine how the game could have been played differently had the player been given the ability to choose the weapons at the start of each match, along with the functionality of the weaponry . That obviously would have changed the flow of the game. Then when Gears of War 2 was released, it did exactly that. I was glad to see those changes and encouraged me to imagine what other changes could be done to other games I liked playing. Some of my favorite games that I draw inspiration from include Super Mario 64, Devil May Cry 3, Ratchet and Clank, and Gears of War.
Outside of video games, I also really like watching movies. Some of my favorites come from Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and even comic book movies like Marvel and DC. I don't watch much TV, but I've still managed to watch some great shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Castlevania, Dragonball Z. I also like to go to conventions, comic book stores, and I've been to a few concerts to see Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and Kings of Leon!
